Congrats to Peter Hewgill and the Cleveland Barons, our Season Thirty-six Memorial Trophy Champions. This marks Cleveland's second Memorial Trophy.
Also, congrats to Dan Marvin and the Hamilton Tigers on their run to the Finals, and thank you to everyone for another successful season.
With the trade deadline having passed, voting for this season's All-Star rosters is now open. Barring any schedule changes between now and then, voting should be open until noon on Saturday with the All-Star Game played that night.
All DFHL-eligible players who were selected in tonight's Entry Draft have been added to their team's roster. Additionally, any players who were deemed DFHL-ineligible when we did re-rates due to not having signed, who have since signed in the NHL, have been added to their team's roster.
As I mentioned in-channel, it was looking like I'd need to reschedule our draft dates due to conflicts and a handful of people mentioned that they had conflicts as well so I'm put together a new schedule.
Alright, with Draft Priority Groups having been released, we can move forward with the Season 36 Drafts.
The Entry Draft is scheduled for October 6 at 7:00 PM. The NSHL Entry Draft will have run by then so we should be confident in the new draft code, which is why I'm doing that on a weeknight.
Re-rates are now complete. The list of rated players who were deemed ineligible is here.
With the Season Thirty-five award winners announced, I've rolled the site over to "Season Thirty-six Mode."
Up next is re-rates. I'll be starting them this afternoon but this weekend is a bit busy so the site might be kind of stuck in between for a few days. I figure everyone is anxious for the new ratings so it's better to get started and then stuck than it is to hold off for a better time. More updates as that progresses.
That's a wrap on the DFHL's thirty-fifth season. Congrats on a great series to Brian Stewart and the Detroit Red Wings and thanks everyone for another great year.
Voting for end of season awards is now open through the GM Tools. Voting is a required action and will be open until noon on August 26.
With the trade deadline having passed, voting for the All-Star Game rosters is now open. Voting is currently scheduled to remain open until noon on Tuesday and is a required action for all teams.
The S35 Entry Draft is complete and rated players who were selected have been added to their respective rosters.
Up next is the Valid Roster Deadline at noon on Monday, followed by the Waiver Draft on Monday evening. As of right now, there are eight teams over at least one of the roster limits.
